Identity

In the “Name”, “Code” and “Unit” fields you specify default strings used when you create a new node or event. Note, however, that the default code is only used if you leave the “Auto code” option unchecked. If the “Auto code” option is checked, DynRisk will generate a code for you based on the code of the parent folder and the number of objects in this folder.  In particular if you create a new node inside a folder with code “A” and this node is the sixth object in this folder, the auto code for this node would be “A.06”.

The “Kind” and “Symbol” popup menus are used to select default values for these attributes. The default “Kind” is used both for nodes and events, while the default “Symbol” only applies to nodes.
